Cristina, who earned her DDS degree in Brazil and later started a practice in her hometown of Curitiba, brings nearly 15 years of in-depth perspective to Fortune—hands-on insight that leads to informed solutions for dentists seeking to enhance their practices.

After moving to the United States in the late 1990s, Cristina expanded the scope of her expertise, working as a dental assistant, treatment coordinator and hygienist at a renowned dental office in Miami frequented by many Portuguese-speaking patients. In the years since, she has worked at dental offices throughout South Florida, further developing her strengths in the areas of patient retention and treatment development.

Cristina has been trained by Fortune Management for the past seven years, during which time she has honed her leadership and problem-solving skills; her ability to quickly pinpoint areas that can be improved in a practice make her an invaluable resource for any dental professional.

Cristina—fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish—likes to spend her free time reading a book, practicing yoga and riding bicycles with her husband and two young daughters. She is also the founder and president of Building Dreams, a nonprofit organization that serves underprivileged children in Brazil.
