Dr. Grobmyer has over a decade as an owner and partner of a high producing, multi-doctor, multi-location dental office in West Tennessee.  He managed and trained a team of over thirty people and helped grow the practice from a single doctor facility to one of the top producing offices in the nation.  During the entire time he was in practice, he was a client of Fortune Practice Management and is thus well versed in their ideas and techniques.

Having fought a battle with colon cancer that left him with numb fingers and unable to practice, Dr. Grobmyer now takes his knowledge and uses it to help other dentists achieve the goals they desire.

Dr. Greg Grobmyer received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis.  He received the very top board scores in his graduating class, which was ranked the number one class in the nation that year.  He has since completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, including extensive training in Cosmetic Dentistry, mostly with the esteemed Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.  He has also received certification in Laser Dentistry techniques, Neuromuscular Dentistry, Conscious Sedation Dentistry, Invisalign invisible braces, Lumineers, and many other specialized services.

In addition to his dental education, Dr. Grobmyer has studied Human Needs Psychology, Strategic Intervention, Neurolinguistic Programming, and Marriage and Family Counseling from the Robbins-Madenes Coach Training Program.

Dr. Grobmyer is one of the few practice management consultants that is actually a dentist with a successful history of practice.  His experience with Fortune throughout his career gives him a unique perspective as a coach.  His study with the Robbins-Madanes Coach Training Program furthers his skill set.  Dr. Grobmyer also is a published author, an actor with experience on stage, movie, and television productions, a regularly performing stand up comedian, and an inspirational speaker and educator.  All combined, it makes him an informative and interesting presenter.

Dr. Grobmyer’s areas of emphasis include communications, relationship building, conflict resolution, teambuilding, marketing, and the practice of dentistry.

Dr. Grobmyer is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, camping, canoeing, and fishing.  He participates in acting projects, being featured in numerous commercials and even some TV and movie roles.  He performs as a standup comedian about once a month at clubs around the Midsouth.  He loves to read and is always working on various writing projects.  Above all, he likes to spend time with his two children, Jenna and Adam.
