About the event

Periodontal disease remains one of the most underdiagnosed and undertreated chronic diseases in dentistry. Yet today's hygienists have more tools than ever to identify disease earlier, educate patients more effectively, provide evidence-based treatment, and improve insurance reimbursement through proper diagnosis and documentation.

This course combines the 2017 World Workshop Classification (endorsed by the ADA), current CDT coding principles, documentation best practices, and practical insurance strategies to help hygienists confidently diagnose, communicate, and treat periodontal disease while improving patient outcomes.
