Meet Katie Burkett

Katie Burkett is the Managing Partner and Executive Coach for Fortune Practice Management Oklahoma. For the last 15 years, she has dedicated her professional life to the field of dentistry. Early on in her career, Katie realized the endless growth opportunities in the dental industry and developed a deep passion for helping dentists grow not only their businesses, but also the people within the practice. Her coaching focus is to help dentists fully grasp the emotional and logical components of making sound business decisions while creating team driven practices. Her experience managing successful dental practices allows Katie to bring a relatable and friendly spirit to her clients. She is committed to developing and implementing innovative ways to promote growth and opportunities for the practice and team.

Along with expertise in business and practice management, Katie has a niche understanding of the dental insurance industry having worked in Provider Relations at Delta Dental. This experience has proven invaluable when helping practices navigate decisions pertaining to insurance companies. A highlight in her career was being a featured speaker at Dentsply Sirona World in 2023.

Katie fully invests in her clients and has a “whatever it takes” attitude when coaching them to achieve their goals. She understands that all dental practices are different and there is not a one size fits all model when it comes to coaching dentists to achieve their visions for their practices. She thrives while creating great relationships and partnering with her clients to customize plans that are the best fit for their unique vision.

Katie enjoys her family and friends, her two doodles, Willow and Walt, traveling, trying “hole in the wall” restaurants, college football and her newest hobby, learning to play piano.
