Compassionate, knowledgeable, and innovative, Mila Givens has been a dental practice management business professional for over 30 years. She began her career in dentistry as an administrator for a specialty dental laboratory in 1986. There she was inspired and mentored by some of the leading dentists and prosthodontists of San Francisco: the dental entrepreneurs of the era. After a decade in the laboratory SF, she went on to manage group dental practices as an independent dental consultant. Well versed in business strategy, the mechanics of practice management, and dental technology, she spent her last 14 years as a COO and vested partner in private group practices.
As a Fortune client, Mila was introduced to the wealth of knowledge, camaraderie, and support of the Fortune Family. Down to earth and very intuitive, Mila resonated deeply with the core tenets of the Fortune philosophy. After directing practices for over 20 years, she firmly believes that the heart of the practice rests in the great culture of the team: “You grow the practice by growing the people.”
After the sale of her practice, she joined Fortune as an executive coach to continue to inspire dental teams on their unique journeys towards practice excellence. Mila is committed to guiding you and your team to real results: a successful practice and a fulfilling abundant life.
When she is not coaching fabulous clients, Mila spends her life as a newlywed, hiking with their happy puppy Zsa Zsa. A member of the Alameda Boys and Girls Club, Mila is forever grateful to be able to inspire the youth of her community.
